Work
-
2024.09 - Present Industrial Robotics Research Student
Center of Research, Development, and Innovation (VIRTUS), Universidade Federal de Campina Grande
Development of intelligent systems for smart factory scenarios
- Led the development of an omnidirectional mobile robot from scratch, implementing its software architecture with state-of-the-art technologies like ROS2 Control and ROS2 Navigation.
- Created a Digital Shadow in Isaac Sim for advanced simulation and analysis of navigation algorithms, validating the robot's behavior in a laboratory environment.
- Utilized the system as an R&D platform to test and improve autonomous navigation algorithms in scenarios simulating smart factory environments.
-
2022.09 - 2024.08 Computer Vision Research Student
Automation and Robotics Laboratory (eROBOTICA), Universidade Federal de Campina Grande
Development of motion captures system using off-the-shelf hardware, applying multiple view computer vision algorithms for tracking moving objects.
- Development and improvement of a motion capture system using low-cost off-the-shelf hardware, achieving an accuracy of less than 1 centimeter when tracking micro-air vehicles at 100Hz.
- Propose a digital twin for off-the-shelf optical tracking systems using CoppeliaSim and Python scripting.
- Development of a virtual environment for single camera calibration, enabling 70% more agility in the calibration process through simulated tests
